Review of Contracts
Provides legal opinion on various contracts submitted to the Legal Office for review, if the same is in compliance with Philippine laws, OC Executive Order No. 1 s. 2016 (UPLB Contract Protocols) and other existing university rules and regulations.

REQUEST FOR LEGAL ADVICE FOR UPLB EMPLOYEES (UPLB related Cases only)
All UPLB employees must first secure a request for appointment from our Administrative Officer. If walk-in, this is subject to the availability of the lawyer.
Please note that the legal advice that we provide are only related to issues in connection with the performance of the official duties of UPLB employees that may also affect the UPLB as an institution.
If the UPLB employee is in need of a “personal” legal advice, this is already outside the jurisdiction of the Legal Office.
conduct of PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATIONS
Upon official delegation of the Chancellor, the Legal Office acts as the initial investigator on all complaints for administrative disciplinary violations committed by UPLB employees and in some cases, students.
Days to Process: Seven (7) working days to One (1) month (depending on facts and circumstances surrounding each case)
